Political Economy Research Institute | Ph.D. Fellow

I am a Visiting Lecturer of Economics at Maryville College. I am also a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Economics and Finance at Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) and a Ph.D. fellow for the Political Economy Research Institute. I earned my B.Sc. at the University of Central Arkansas, where I studied economics and German. I also hold an M.A. in Economics from MTSU. My research lies at the intersection of political economy and public health, exploring diverse topics such as the adulteration of whiskey and the historical roots of barber licensure.
